The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) Alumni Association, founded in 1990, fosters and perpetuates lifelong relationships between alumni and the university. Its mission is to support, enhance and promote UMGC and its community of students, faculty, staff and alumni worldwide.

In partnership with UMGC, a preeminent global university, the UMGC Alumni Advisory Board meets the diverse needs of its alumni membership by serving as the leading resource for personal and professional growth. We support, promote, and enhance the university and its community of alumni, students, faculty, and staff by providing a wide range of opportunities, benefits, and services.

The Alumni Association will provide a lifelong global connection for its alumni membership worldwide by ensuring resources dedicated to quality, accessibility, and affordability.

Welcome to your UMGC Alumni Association! I am honored to extend a warm welcome to your fellow alumni community. You are part of a vibrant, global network of more than 312,000 alumni. A community defined by resilience, achievement, and a shared commitment to lifelong learning. 

Your journey to earning your degree is uniquely your own, shaped by the challenges you overcame and the goals you pursued. Yet, what unites us all is the determination to balance personal, professional, and academic responsibilities, a hallmark of the UMGC experience.
