The UMGC Alumni Association's Annual Alumni Awards recognize alumni who enrich the UMGC community through their intellectual, social, cultural, and service contributions. In its 34th year, the Alumni Association will recognize award recipients at a ceremony in October 2024.
Alec Simpson Commissions New Artwork for Recipients
The Alumni Association and UMGC Arts Program commissioned artist Alec Simpson, to produce a unique piece of art for the 2022 alumni award recipients. This painting, part of the “Silver Lining” Series, reflects Simpson's theme of finding positivity in every situation.
