My Volunteer Program
The My Volunteer Program allows you to be active in six different ways:
Career Mentor Volunteers
Offer your time and talent by sharing your professional expertise with UMGC students and fellow alumni working in the same or similar field.
Social Media Ambassadors
Social Media Ambassadors Volunteers act as UMGC’s virtual brand ambassadors, following and sharing university news and activities with the online community.
Referral Volunteers
Referral Volunteers can participate by either introducing their alma mater to prospective UMGC students, or introducing their employers with the UMGC Employer Services team.
Event Volunteers
Event Volunteers assist at UMGC events and activities such as commencement, career fairs, and other Alumni Association activities.
Industry Expert Volunteers
Industry Expert Volunteers provide valuable insight into the current status of their industry. These volunteers participate as blog writers or event speakers.
Headhunter Volunteers
Headhunter Volunteers link the UMGC community to career opportunities within their organizations by posting employment openings on UMGC's CareerQuest portal.
