Join your University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) community and show off your school pride as we show the world how UMGC spans the globe and beyond. This year's theme, "Embrace your Imagination," invites you to celebrate your boundless creativity that drives innovation, inspires change, and brings dreams to life.

Join the Fun for a Chance to Receive UMGC Swag!
Participating in Homecoming Spirit Week is not only a chance to connect with your UMGC community but also an opportunity to win some fantastic UMGC swag. When you participate each day using the hashtag #HomecomingUMGC, you could be one of the lucky three randomly selected recipients of an eco-friendly UMGC Homecoming 2024 Swag Pack. Entries will be cumulative throughout the week, so the more you participate, the higher your chances of being selected!
September 30: Magical Monday - Spotlight Your Muse
Spirit Week will kick off with "Magical Monday” because sometimes we all need a burst of inspiration or spark of creativity to start our week off right. Share a moment, or tag family or friends who inspired you to try something new today. Express your appreciation and let them know how they helped you find your magic today!
October 1: Talent Tuesday - Showcase Your Special Flair
"Talent Tuesday" is all about showcasing the diverse and unique skills of our UMGC community. Outside of school and work, many of us have special talents that make us who we are. Whether you play a musical instrument, have mastered a foreign language, or excel in a sport, share your special talent and let us celebrate what makes you extraordinary.
October 2: Whimsical Wednesday - Share Your Latest Creations
On "Whimsical Wednesday" we want to see your creativity in action! Share a photo of something you recently created. It could be a culinary dish, a piece of artwork, or a photograph you just took. Your creativity is our inspiration!
October 3: Imaginative Thursday - Describe Your Dream Destination
"Imaginative Thursday" is the perfect opportunity to "Embrace Your Imagination" and bring your dreams to life. Picture your ultimate getaway and share your dream travel destination. Whether you're imagining a tropical beach or a historic city, tell us where you'd love to go next!
October 4: High-Five Friday - Share Your Wins and Celebrate Your Champions
It's time to wrap up Spirit Week on a high note! "High-Five Friday" is about sharing your recent wins and celebrating members of your UMGC community who have supported you along the way. Tell us what you have achieved in your academic or professional journey and give a shoutout to the champions who have helped you reach your educational goals.
