The Alumni Association collaborated with the UMGC Arts Program to commission artist – Alec Simpson - to produce a unique piece of art for the alumni award recipients.
Each of these one-of-a kind paintings are from the “Silver Lining” Series. In them, Mr. Simpson reflects on the power of seeing the positive of any situation - no matter the situation. The 2022 Alumni Award recipients embody this positive spirit to bring joy and uplift others, making a difference throughout their lives.
